Rocko Tiles – Waterproof panels for efficient furnishing and renovation.
Discover the Rocko Tiles collection – mineral composite-based panels measuring 2800 x 1230 x 4 mm – and style your home in Bosco, Metal, Color, and Stones tones.
Rocko Tiles panels are ideal for wall cladding in areas such as bathrooms, showers, living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and kitchens, thanks to their waterproof and fire-resistant properties. They are easy to process with conventional tools and can be installed using special adhesives, even on old ceramic tiles or concrete surfaces.

Easy to install
Rocko Tiles are intended for installation inside buildings. The product is designed for finishing wall surfaces, both in dry and wet rooms. Proper assembly and adequate maintenance will ensure the long-term use of Rocko Tiles. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages caused by incorrect installation or improper assembly conditions.
WALL TILE INSTALLATION – DRY ROOMS
WASTE DEPOSIT
Order 10% more than the installation area to compensate for cuts and scraps.
ACCLIMATIZATION REQUIREMENTS 48H
REQUIRED INDOOR CONDITIONS 15°C – 30°C [59°F – 86°F]
DEFINITION OF “WATERPROOF”
The structural integrity of the Rocko floor will not be affected by contact with moisture/water.
Acclimatization
Before installation, Rocko tiles must be acclimatized to room temperature at the installation site. The room where the tiles will be installed must have a temperature between 15°C – 30°C [59°F – 86°F]. Rocko tiles must be stored horizontally on a flat surface in controlled environmental conditions.

Installation tools / Recommended accessories
- Circular saw with guide bar
- Cutting disc – recommended discs with a sufficiently high number of teeth, e.g., ø165mm (56 teeth) and ø350mm (108 teeth)
- Utility knife
- Ruler, tape measure, pencil
- Spacers, tile leveling clips
- Spatula for adhesive, cartridge press
- Broom or vacuum cleaner
• Optional: circular saw, drill for holes, hardware, assembly pliers
- PREPARING THE SUBSTRATE
3.1 SUBSTRATE REQUIREMENTS
WOOD (PLYWOOD, OSB)
• Wooden substrates must be firmly attached to the base structure; Rocko tiles should not be mounted on unstable or poorly attached base boards.
• The substrate must be load-bearing, dry, clean, and degreased.
• The substrate must be stable, free of cracks, bends, or unevenness.
CONCRETE, BRICK
• Wooden substrates must be firmly attached to the base structure; Rocko tiles should not be mounted on unstable or poorly attached base boards.
• Any protrusions on the substrate should be removed by sanding; cavities can be filled with an appropriate filler and then primed.
• The substrate must be reinforced and matured according to recommendations.
CERAMIC TILES, TERRAZZO, STONE
• The existing substrate must be firmly attached to the base structure; do not mount Rocko tiles on unstable or poorly attached tiles.
• The surface of the tiles must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased before applying the adhesive.
3.2. Leveling the surface
The substrate must be leveled with a maximum deviation of 2 mm per 1 m length [0.08″ per 40″]. There should be no unevenness, deflections, or defects.

3.3. Cleaning the substrate
Clean the wall of dirt and dust and degrease it if installing on a non-absorbent surface. The surface must be smooth and stable.
3.4. Surface dimensions
Before starting installation, measure the lengths of the walls where the Rocko tiles will be mounted. Proper planning of tile layout prevents very narrow elements and helps maintain proportions.

Cutting Rocko tiles
Shape the tiles using a circular saw with a guide. For cutting, it is recommended to use discs with a sufficient number of teeth, e.g., ø165 mm (56 teeth) and ø350 mm (108 teeth). Ensure the decorative surface of the tile is facing up when cutting. If there are electrical outlets or other installation components on the wall surface, cut holes in the tile before installation. Depending on the shape, holes can be cut with a drill or jigsaw.

Cleaning the tile surface
Cut tiles must be cleaned. The underside of the tiles, where the adhesive will be applied, should be free of dust, dry, and degreased to ensure proper adhesive bonding.

- Applying adhesive from a tube / cartridge / foil package
APPLYING THE ADHESIVE
Apply the mounting adhesive to the underside of the tile or to the wall surface. If using adhesive in a cartridge or foil package, apply it in vertical stripes at intervals of 10 cm. Do not apply the adhesive in spots. Apply adhesive around the contour of each cutout. Bonded surfaces must be joined within 10 minutes of applying the adhesive.

Applying adhesive with a trowel
Apply the mounting adhesive to the underside of the tile or to the wall surface. Apply the adhesive across the entire surface of the tile to be bonded. Do not apply the adhesive in spots. The adhesive should be applied with a trowel (C1) of 4x4x4 mm. Bonded surfaces must be joined within 40 minutes of applying the adhesive.

Bonding tiles to the surface
After applying the adhesive, place the tile on the wall and press it. For optimal adhesion, press the bonding elements so that there is a 2-3 mm ventilation gap between them. This gap will ensure that the adhesive joint can permanently transmit deformation.

Leveling the tiles
After bonding the first tile, place the leveling clips – these will allow the expansion gap between tiles (2-3 mm) and facilitate leveling the surface. After bonding the next tile, level the adjacent surfaces. Do not remove the leveling clips until the adhesive has cured. Continue assembling the following tiles.

Removing clips and protective film
The adhesive curing speed depends on ambient temperature and humidity (24-48 h). As temperature and humidity increase, the polymerization process is faster. Ensure effective ventilation until full curing. After completing the work and curing the adhesive, remove the leveling clips and then remove the protective film from the surface of the tiles.
